60-Minute Cinnamon Breakfast Rolls


Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup quite warm milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 package yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons shortening
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
     
  2. Combine the 1/2 cup of warm milk, salt, sugar, yeast, egg, shortening and flour and knead.
     
  3. Roll out into a 12"x7" rectangle.
     
  4. Combine butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, powdered sugar, and the 2 tablespoons of milk.
     
  5. Spread the dough rectangle with half the mixture.
     
  6. Roll up the long way and cut 12 rolls.
     
  7. Place in a 9" round pan.
     
  8. Let rise 25-30 minutes.
     
  9. Bake 20-25 minutes at 400F degrees.
     
  10. While still warm, frost with the other half of the cinnamon mixture.

The Perfect Hot Dog/Chili Sauce

This is one of my family favorites, I have made this since I was a smaller child. If your like my family we stick to what works. I got compliments on it through the years and I have made small batches to extremely large batches for alot of parties and occasion's. Give it a try see if you don't blow your family away with the taste this sauce gives them.


Ingredients
  • 2 small onions, finely chopped
  • 5 pounds hamburger
  • 64 ounces Hunt's Tomato Paste
  • 64 ounces Hunt's Tomato Puree
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon celery seed
  • 3 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
  1. Brown hamburger and onions in a very large skillet; drain.
     
  2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 3 1/2 hours, stirring frequently as it will tend to stick.
