Chocolate Wacky Cake

Sift and mix together in an ungreased square cake
pan (8”by8” or 9”by9”):

1½ cups flour
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
4 tbsp. cocoa

Make 3 holes in dry ingredients.

1st hole put 1 tbsp. vinegar
2nd hole put 1 tsp. vanilla
3rd hole put 5 tbsp. melted butter
Then pour 1 cup of warm water over all.
Mix well together until flour disappears. Bake in
moderate oven (350 degrees F) for about ½ hour
(30 mins).
