Peanut Butter Cookies
1 cup Peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tbs. vanilla extract
(Hint: You may substitute 1/2 cup granulated and 1/2 cup brown sugar for a different flavor!)
Mix ingredients well.
Spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
Allow to cool on baking sheet before removing to cookie jar!
This recipe is so very easy but I strongly recommend that you double the recipe
so you can have a few!

Homemade Creamy Chicken and Dumplings | Country Cooking Recipes
Creamy Chicken & Dumplings
1 lb chicken breasts
10 bouillon cubes
2 quarts water
2 cups bisquick
2/3 cups milk
2 tbsp butter
4 eggs
2 stalks celery

Place chicken breasts & bouillon cubes in a large pot & cover with 2 quarts of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium and simmer for 20-25 mins until chicken is done.
Meanwhile, boil the eggs. Then mix together the bisquick and milk until soft dough forms. When chicken is done, remove from pot and set aside. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the chicken stock. Simmer over low heat, covered, for 10 mins, then uncovered for 10 mins.
Meanwhile, dice 2-4 stalks of celery until you have approximately 1/2 – 1 cup of diced celery. Cut or shred chicken into bit sized pieces. Saute celery in 2 tbsp of butter for a couple of mins. Add in chicken & season well with salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Add the chicken and celery to the soup. Remove yolk from boiled eggs and chop whites and add to soup. Stir all to combine. Serves 4.

Homemade Old Fashioned Lemonade
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
Juice from 4-6 lemons
4 cups cold water
DIRECTIONS:

DIRECTIONS:
Blend 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar well in small
saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently,
until sugar dissolves completely. Let cool and
refrigerate. Mix the syrup well with the juice
from 4-6 lemons (strained or not, as you like)
and stir well. Add 4 cups cold water and mix. Try
using sparkling water for some fizz! Pour into
thermos or large jug, adding thin lemon slices
if you'd like. I like to make more lemonade and
freeze it in ice cube trays, adding the cubes to
the lemonade so it's never diluted.
Yield: 6 Servings

7-UP Jello Salad
1 pkg. lemon Jello
1 cup hot water
1 (8 ounce) cream cheese
1 small can pineapple, crushed
1 (12 ounce) can 7-Up
Dissolve Jello in hot water. Slowly add Jello to cream cheese. Stir until smooth. Add pineapple and 7-Up. Chill.

My Favorite Salad Dressings
French Salad Dressing
1 can tomato soup
1 1/2 cup Wesson oil
3/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon grated onion
Mix all ingredients together and shake well. Add dash of Worcestershire sauce, paprika and dry mustard.

1/4 cup sesame seeds
3/4 cup oil
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
2 small cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon. black pepper
Combine together and use over spinach and mushroom salad.
Thousand Island Salad Dressing
1 cup mayonnaise
2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
2 tablespoons celery, chopped
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup chili sauce
2 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoon. finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup stuffed green olives, chopped
Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
