How Many Big Macs Can One Eat



Homemade Bigmacs with a homemade Bigmac sauce made with miracle whip and french dressing. This is so much better than the restaurant version!


Homemade BigMacs and BigMac Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Miracle Whip
  • 1/3 Cup Sweet Relish
  • 1/4 Cup French Dressing
  • 1 T Sugar
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried Minced Onion (in the spice aisle)

Instructions

  1. Mix together ingredients.
  2. Assemble BigMac in the following order: Bottom roll, Mac Sauce, Diced onions, Slice of Cheese, Meat, Middle bun, Mac Sauce, Diced onions, Two pickles, Meat, Top Bun
Yield: Enough Sauce for 5-10 Macs

  • 1/2 pound dried navy beans, picked over
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco, or to taste
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper, or to taste
  • two 4-ounce cans whole mild green chilies, drained and chopped
  • 5 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 2 pounds), cooked and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Monterey Jack (about 6 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • Garnish: fresh coriander sprigs
  • Accompaniment: tomato salsa

KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN




11 SECRET HERBS AND SPICES:
3 cups sifted flour
1/3 cup powdered eggs
2 teaspoon garlic salt (or garlic powder)
2 teaspoons onion salt
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried rubbed sage
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried powdered rosemary
1/2 teaspoon dried powdered thyme
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper (or a little more to taste hotter)

Combine all ingredients for the seasoned flour. 

Rinse chicken with water and roll in flour mixture and fry. Best if cooked in canned Crisco shortening till golden brown.

FOR EXTRA CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN:
Dip in flour mixture, then dip in beaten eggs and re-dip in flour mixture pressing the flour onto the chicken for a good thick coating.

(DON'T FORGET TO MAKE GRAVY WITH LEFT OVER DRIPPINGS FOR YOUR MASHED OR BAKED, POTATOES.)

Makes 3 1/2 cups of seasoned flour
