DONUT HOLES

QUICK DONUT HOLES

2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. oil

Mix dry ingredients. Stir in buttermilk, oil and eggs. Beat with a fork. Drop by teaspoon in hot fat. Cook 3 minutes until brown. Can be coated with granulated sugar.
