CHEESY BROCCOLI SOUP


Makes 4 (3/4-cup)



1/4 cup chopped onion

1 tablespoon butter or margarine

1-1/2 cups milk

3/4 pound (12 ounces) VELVEETA  Cheese, cut up

1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped broccoli,

thawed, drained

Dash pepper



Cook and stir onion in butter in large saucepan on

medium-high heat until tender.



Add remaining ingredients; stir on low heat until

Velveeta is melted and soup is thoroughly heated.
